Providenciales sits on the edge of the Turks and Caicos barrier reef system, and the snorkeling right off Grace Bay is good enough that many guests never need to book a boat trip. For a bigger day out, local operators run half- and full-day snorkel and dive trips to the outer reef and wall sites, where the reef drops off dramatically into deep water.
